I think the time has come that i decided to leave my blogging life and close down the site. The honest truth is that I have been far too busy developing my own life and future. It's my senior year and I sure have been busy! I've been working on my college applications, essays, homework and projects so that's the reason i stopped updating DCN.

This isn't an official "closing" but it might be a little because I'm too busy now a days to update.

I most likely update the blog if something big is released but I'm sorry to say that the site is basically done with, but two and a half years was a good run for DCN and I'm thankful for everyone who visited often :)

Miley Cyrus’ 18th birthday is only a few weeks away, so hows she planning to spend it?

With her broken down family, she hopes!

While walking the red carpet at the European Music Awards in Spain this past weekend, Miley told reporters she’s hoping to get her family to a vacation to celebrate her big birthday, and she thinks they need it.

She also promises nothing crazy.

“I’m not going to go crazy – [just] have a fun party and then maybe take a vacation with my family,” the pop star, whose birthday is Nov. 23, told MTV Sunday before the MTV Europe Music Awards in Madrid. “That would be really cool. I think we need time to all be together.”

Miley’s parents announced a divorce last week after seventeen years of marriage.

Miley Cyrus's parents, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus, are divorcing after 17 years of marriage, they tell PEOPLE.

"As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family," they say in a statement. "We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers."

The couple have five children, including the pop star. Divorce papers were filed Wednesday in Tennessee citing irreconcilable differences.
